I'm 90% done with Argus 0.9, and I'm not sure how far with PGnJ 0.5 (I keep realizing things need to be re-written and I just don't want to release crap). Both are taking longer than I ever expected because of everything else going on. It's really hard to find time to work on personal projects. I'm usually at work or at school. Thing's aren't getting any less crazy, either. I just started working on a research project at school. So what are the main projects I am currently working on?
- Apolo (a huge ERP system I'm writing at work)
- Truss (a security and permissions system I wrote at work)
- Argus (an issue tracking system that is a personal project)
- PGnJ (a database management application that is a personal project)
Although I also have been working on some school related projects like the research project as well as something for my operating systems class, that's about it. It may not seem like a lot, but when you don't have much free time as it is, trying to work on four projects simultaneously is really difficult. I'm always 'almost there' on each of them. The worst part is that I feel as though I'm not accomplishing anything! I mean, I know I'm advancing each application, but when I can't just 'finish this next release' I feel like what I've done so far is really nothing. I can't show it, it doesn't exist.
Anyway, it was nice to get that off my chest. I'm going to keep plowing ahead, especially with Argus and PGnJ. It's much more difficult to find time to work on those. The others I work on at work.
